it's finally beginning to set in-
the fact that i'll be leaving my comfort zone for almost five months.
the making of lists
buying of essentials
continuous nagging about what not to do there
tidying up my room
scheduling little gatherings with friends
...
eleven days;
it couldn't get longer.
aloe vera yoghurt with nata de coco.. :D
had my last japanese intermediate level lesson today.
chatted quite alot with my classmates while waiting for our turns at the oral test and found out my teacher is turning forty next month (!!!!)
i thought she looked at most thirty.
hmm.. the advanced level lessons sound fun though-
conversation-based ones are definitely better than structure-based. but its scary when one teacher decides whether or not you are able to proceed to the next level.
satisfied my craving for anago tempura!
too bad they didn't have hiyashichuuka
so i settled for zaru soba which was totally good :)
and the fried oysters were actually nice. (from a person who doesn't like oysters to begin with)
japanese food makes me happy lahhhh :):)
and happy birthday to my dad!!
...which was why i got to eat yummy food in the first place-
although i had to sacrifice ling's birthday party for it :X
next round;
sukiyaki and buta kimchi-
iku zoooooooo~
have you ever wondered-
why was man created as such a complicated being?
and why did man have to try understanding each other's complexity?
this year's national day rally had-
usual stuff but what the pm said made me realise singapore is really not a bad place after all.
might partially be delusion, but i guess that's what singaporeans need and want to hear.
shouldn't be that bad after all i think.
and the two offices to help overseas singaporeans maintain ties here was the best suggestion that was come up with, personally.
owens park. 21 days.
i need to pull myself together and start writing out a list of what to pack.
and start getting the hundred million things i'm sure i lack.
i've not felt like this in a long time.
only you can make it happen.
a thin line between my reality and your reality.
but how am i to know when i've crossed it?
so.. national day passed without me watching a single speck of fireworks nor a single bit of the parade.. -shrugs-
but watched pirates of the carribean with my entire family at the cinema a few hours ago~
possibly the first time ever o.O
tickets were free anyway heh.. otherwise movies on a saturday night nonetheless, are a definite no-no.
show-wise, my favourite part is still the soundtrack haha.
but it gets frustrating when you cannot keep up with both the american accents and the chinese subtitles.
just why is this happening!? :(
dead beat.
'coz my mom, sis and i being kiasu singaporeans, reached the singapore expo at nine am this morning to queue for the library book fair
to find that there were hundreds of them before us.
and i stepped out nearly three hours later..
with only four books.
far too many people for my liking :the cause of me being half an hour late for my japanese lesson as well grrr.
but yays for mutton satay, carrot cake, kopi-peng and "qiu zhi", a type of tapioca with coconut sauce.
food here really rocks.
that's what i'll probably be missing most when i'm in manchester =X
been updating my japanese blog more often...
pretty emoticons are just too hard to resist :P
accounting subjects are boring.
two days of lessons did nothing to change that notion bahh.
hong's party last night had a really pretty cake~
and a super well dressed pirate complete with his ocs sword and toy guns haha-
although we, along with quite a few others, got lost finding the place -___-
anyways happy 21st and enjoy your time in netherlands!!
remember our date to go watch epl matches v(^^)

V6: dasenai tegami
V6: cosmic rescue
tsuyoshi domoto: the rainbow star
smap: bang!bang!vacance!
i had a good break this week.
in between operation-clear-room and catching up with various people, blogsurfing took up some of the remaining time
right now's the summer concert season with V6, arashi, tsuyoshi and kanjani8 (i think) and its kinda interesting to read concert and japan travel reports from singaporean fans.
i really miss japannnnn~
should i go back in december?
shucks. i need to be more decisive!
more fangirls are beginning to "see the light" as to the apparent useless-ness of fangirling it seems.
haha yeah, but i was never one of those crazy fangirls anyway.
that much i know~
i don't wanna start sch tomorrowwwwww!!
hear hear, final year student's whining... argh.
V6 is on the top of the charts again~ :)
