going on stage while worrying about things like will the hat fall off, will i trip on stage kinda issues.
but the parents were quite happy about the occasion and well, that's the main point isn't it?

thought of taking block leave in october since it's the only time from now till march where i can do so-
to watch the V6 concert in japan (on the 3rd nonetheless).
but their schedule is quite weird;
hopping across the entire country with one week breaks between performances!?
...and therefore despite parental consent,
temptation of osaka-jo hall on 27/28/29 oct,
the head still rules over the heart, as always.

最近、キンキの記念番組だけではなく、周りの人によく話してたネタはー
自分自身についてという話なんですけど、
自分のことをまた考え出すことが多いですね。
「オーラの泉」という番組に、光一くんの表せた性格と比べてると、私とかなり似てると思う。
特に、「自分に嘘をつく」ところ。
以前、性格についてはいつも表現にくいで、自分はどんな人とかをすごく分かって欲しいけど、時間に経っても答えを探せなってしまった。
でもこの番組に、光一くんは私をその普段に表現できないことをハッキリ説明してくれると、自分についにもっと分けるかもしれない。 しかも、それは私にとって怪しいポイントなのです。 更に、ホストの太一くんに質問されたのがぴったりで私が知りたい問題ですわ。
当たり前で言わずに、彼の答えは自分が全ての意味が分かる。
深い言葉も言った：
サッパリではなく、よく分かっているでもなく、

それより、人の「スピリチュアル」オーラの分析が楽しかった、特にすごく憧れていて人のを。

kinda busy day today;
because instead of seeing "balance sheet for year ended 20XX" or "profit and loss statement for year ended 20XX", what i saw was "资产负债表" and "利润表".
plus 流动资产, 固定资产 and the like.
and if that wasn't enough to kill off at least half the brain cells, was asked to somewhat translate several contracts written entirely in CHINESE.
oh wells, now i know 亩 is a hectare heh.
i'm thinking twice about taking JETRO now :(
and of course, i felt damn demoralised about the mother tongue sigh.

feel like completing the entire series and i have two choices:
buy those unwrapped figures at a higher price, or buy those wrapped figures at the normal price.
but the kick is unwrapping each one to see which one you've got that round!
on the other hand, i'm afraid of getting duplicates since one costs... quite alot heh.
and me wants the evangelion series 2 and kaiyodo bome figurines too;
plus another rement set.
...i never grow up :(

stoning around clarke quay then town with someone who eventually got the exact same pair of shoes (in the same size too!) as me on saturday :)
and heartless window shopping plus steamboat on sunday.
back to work tomorrow... and i seriously hope i don't screw up while alone on the job bleah.
its just one of those days when you just sit back and allow yourself to dwell on one of those "down" things-
and thats all it takes to bring to surface and magnify all the issues that you are troubled by hundredfold.

i'm just being me.
my feet now look like they've been through some war;
with all the abrasions and blisters all over, all because of bloody covered shoes!!
either i don't know how to wear those shoes properly,
or my feet just aren't made to don those footwear with tips that can kill (ironically those are the type i like!)
bah!
the feet would probably be better off bandaged for the rest of the working life grrs... whoever invented the pretty and pointed covered shoes and designated them to go with formal wear should be condemned to wear them everyday!!
or some people should just design shoes that come in triangular shape, with the front much much wider than the rear.
to add a gross factor,
i peeled off half of my small toenail which was already chipped anyway along with the plaster i always wrap around the small toes during the day.
wahlaoeh.
i'm gonna have to resort to wearing comfy slip-ons to and from the office when i'm on the job starting next monday :(
my cousin tied the knot yesterday, along with 776 other couples on the somewhat auspicious 07/07/07.

was one of the more different ceremonies i've been to;
held at the old parliament house.
we had a kick out of sitting in the seats with famous names on them, pretending to be the judge and yell "silence" and exploring the place.
my local history has really flown elsewhere, when i realised i didn't know what the "barisan socialis" was and many other should-know facts.
where did that O'level history grade come from?
first time to a lunch reception as well;
suaku me went in expecting an "inserts-number-here"-course meal and was surprised to find out there was only a buffet with no seats!
..and as all family gatherings do,
the parents and i ended up with family gossip the rest of the day after leaving the newly weds to pack up for their honeymoon in the states.
to be honest, i am never close to any of the extended family members;
the best i can do is to exchange some greetings and the customary "what are you up to now" questions every time we meet which is rarely more than twice a year.
but it was interesting to find out how the other cousins are doing, given a few around the same age as i am.
they'd probably be gossiping about my family anyway haha!
...on an unrelated note, i went home with a new pair of shoes o.O
juz got home from "OT" on the 2nd day of work haha..
but onboarding programme at fort canning was commendable although painfully boring at times during the numerous talks ><
wonder how much the entire two day event cost o.O
i'm trying, believe me.
initiated conversations with a few strangers over the past two days;
although at times during the many tea breaks which were supposed to be for networking purposes,
i felt like digging a hole in the floor and hiding inside.
if u didn't know,
i have a real phobia of strangers (or people in general)... but i'm trying...
because that is one of the cornerstones of being an auditor sigh..

and tomorrow's a good day coz i get to report to the office at 11am!

been a week of meeting up with big groups of people:
minds cafe, then manhattan fish market with the manchester gang just now;
almost full day mahjong yesterday with the uni gang then supper at this hk cafe near heartland mall;
jinli's birthday celebration on friday with the jc gang;
joanna's birthday celebration last sunday with the andersonian gals.
starting work for good tomorrow-
shall be optimistic about it =)
